HOW TO CHECK YOUR GROUND
In order to use any grounding system in your home or office you must have a groundable socket available to you, then you must make sure that you have a proper ground in you electrical outlet system. Grounding testers are available at most hardware and building supply stores.
- Establish that you have a ground hole available in your wall socket.
- use a ground testing device for proper ground.
- "DO NOT" ground any device without passing the proper ground test.
If your sleeping area has easy access to the outside and soft soil you may drive a copper rod into the ground 3 feet and attach your grounding wire to that instead of the grounding to a socket in the wall. Please make sure there are no wires or pipes in the ground under the rod. If you are not familiar with this process have a trained tradesman do it for you.
